Capital Museum 首都博物院
The Capital Museum is an art museum. It opened in 1981 while the present building was built in the late 90s and it houses a variety of items from imperial China as well as other Asian cultures. It contains over 200,000 cultural relics in its collection, only a small fraction of it are exhibited, and a significant percentage of the museum's art collection came from artifacts unearthed in Beijing.

Well-know for its large and priceless relics, it was the first group og historical and cultural heritage sites in China to be placed under special state protection.

^It was said that all the Chinese athletes were there to massage their feet while training for the last yr Summer Olmpics....

One of the Beijing symbol.... If u have no idea wat is it, try to find clips on the 2008 Olympics Open Ceremony in youtube.... The opening is simply FANTASTICS!!!
