our cab came 15 mins earlier den our requested time, so we actually set off earlier. In fact, Shan & I only took along our neccessties, food & pjs. e clothings we had on, had to survive us for 3 days in HS, coz I din bring along my luggage. Seriously, if I had e luggage with me, I dun even think I could climb up e steps at all.... We took 45 mins to reach e foot of e mountain. Took another bus up to e cable station & reached HS @ around 9 plus(I suppose). We had to walked to e Hotel BeiHai for an hour plus, reaching there @ 11am... *tired* Our room was actually a cabin, it was rather small but e bathroom was actually big as compared to e bedroom.

As U can see form e pics, it was very foggy on tat day. In fact, we din realised how many steps we had ascended till we left HS. Basically, e fog had made e visibility really low & it was drizzling too.

We left our bags in e cabin, brought along raincoats & roamed around, hoping to get something to eat. Our energy had practically used up after those steps.

Took MU546 @ 10.10am & reached Pudong International Airport @ 3.30pm.
By e time, I reached Hotel Yun's Paradise was oreadi 5.30pm.

We were famished by then, so I suggested calling room service since it wasn't that high rise as other hotels....

I ordered 海鲜汤面 (63rmb = S$12.90)& 猪排饭 (48rmb = S$9.80) for us. When it arrived, we were astonished!!!! The portion was huge & it was da** delicious!!!! U dun get those portion & pricing in any S'pore restaurant!!! *so worth* Especially the 海鲜汤面, there were a lot of clams, prawns, fishes & even crabs.... It looked exactly like a mountain!!

The next day, we woke up really early & left Hotel Yun @ 6.45am for 上海长途客运南站,
in e hope to take e 8.38am bus to Tunxi 屯奚.

It was a 5hrs ride, Shan & I tried hard not to take any drinks coz we would have to rush to e loo (not exactly e loo we would want to go).

By 2pm, we reached our hotel in Tunxi 老街口客栈. This 客栈 aka inn is really cheap, in fact we booked for 4 nights & stayed in e 1st & last nights only.

We headed to Dicos for lunch & roamed around e 老街 Street.




During dinner time, we came back to the Old Street again & went to 美食一楼. This well-renovated restaurnat was dirt cheap & e food was FANTASTICS!!!!!

If I recalled correctly, I still have another 1 or 2 dishes tat we had forgotten to take pic... *too delicious & hungry to take e pics...* All these food only cost 24rmb = S$4.90 for 2 pax...

My dad said he couldn't give any red packets this yr (coz granny haven 100 days yet), he simply bought some 'nice' food back.....
Aiyoz, e 'nice' foof referred wasn't my favourite at all....
It was instead my mum's favourite...
Din know they bought food back, coz I went out with Shan to collect the refunded money from Super Travels (dun go this agency... super cheater bug)...
anyway, after that since we hadn;t had anything to do...
Instead we went to catch 十月圍城 [Bodyguards & Assassins]...
Saw e eintertainment news on tv when in China, it has my favourite actors like Donnie Yen, Tony Leung, Hu Jun & etc... & furthermore read e reviews on papers this morning, thought I should give it a try....
Its been ages since I caught any chinese movie on e theatre.....
But anyway, I enjoyed tremendously especially e fighting scenes.... It was really EPIC!!!

Today is my granny's 49th days....

So this morning, I went to my uncle's hse (coz granny not around) & they did some praying.
Its hard to believe 49days have passed....
This qns has been popping up in mind, Has granny met up with grandpa in heaven??

Few days ago, 倚天屠龙记09 was out on tudou & I was able to find the links, caught it online!!!! Same plot as the 03 version (Alec Su as the Wuji) but I thought the fighting scenes are good choreographed & I oso think Ady An made a better Zhao Min.

By chance, I DL Criminal Minds Season1 till epi 4 yesterday & OMG, I was so blown away by the storyline!!!

Watched those 4 episodes yesterday & continued another 4 episodes before I decided to get the dvds instead!
Tried Causeway Point (Music Junction - furtile trip) & then drove to Vista Point where I know there was a Videoezy in there. Searched high & low for the drama till I gave up, but before I left, I asked the salesgirl if the drama was available, & it was there all that time!!!! They have Criminal Minds Season 2 though wasn't waht I was hoping for, I thought it was better than nothing. It only cost $39.90, so much cheaper than The Mentalist which cost $69.90. The salesgirls asked if I was willingly to buy all the 3 seasons & they would give me a good price for it. Initially, I was thinking to get them in China but I was too absorbed by the story that I couldn't refused the 'good' price. They charged $93 for all the 3 seasons, meaning 1 season for $31. I actually saved $26.70!!!! It may not be much to ppl, but its such a big bargian that I could not say NO!!! I haven had my Season 1 & 3 but they said once they arrived, they would call me to collect it!!! *jumping with joy!!*

Went out late morning & together with my mum, we went to Suntec to book for a tour...
Coz we couldn't celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, my mum suggested to go somewhere nice....
But she needed somewhere cold, so I chose either Japan or Korea for her.
Most of Japan tours are 7 days & above which I thought it was kinda long for her, since our shop will be opened on the 5th day of Lunar New Year, then we opted for for the
ASA 6 Days Korea Wonderland on 12/02/2010.

We did some shopping oso. Each of us bought a wool jacket coz korea's temperature will be some sub zero's degrees.... Luckily, we got a luggage bag courtesy of OCBC & placed both the jackets inside to save us the trouble of carrying it. All we needed was to pull the luggage!!! It came in so handy... *ha*








While I was on the train, San called me abt my HuangShan trip has been dampened, & the whole tour left with only 5 pax including us. She called me saying we had to decide to take back the deposit by wasting 50 bucks, meaning we only got back 450 instead of 500, Coz if we were to collect on Monday, the deposit will only left with 250.
Then we opted for HS free & easy..... seriously, china free & easy isn't a good alternative since they are so so huge but no choice, no one is interested in HuangShan at all.....

Ask some of my frens & most of them said not interested.... haiz...
Why is that so??? China is cheap & there's no language barrier oso mah....

After my granny's 49 days, I would have to start going to temple to pray for a safe HS holiday...

Its been like more than 10 days since I've updated.....

Was not feeling too well, suffering from sore throat, flu & fever....

Had no idea wat the story was about....
Initially, my fren told me the movie & I thought it was a swedish restaurnat with such weird name.... *hahah... funny hor*
