Temple of Heaven 天坛
The temple was constructed from 1406 to 1420 during the reign of the YongLe Emperor, who was responisble of the Forbidden City in Beijing. The complex was entended and renamed Temple of Heaven during the reign of the JiaJing Emperor in the 16th century.


^On the way to view the 天坛 & was overwhelmed by the number of people in the park...
It was said that the Beijing residents like to exercise or gather together to do some activities suck as taiji, practising on the swords, badminton & so on.... U name it, U can just see them playing over there...

After spening an hour or 2 under the Hot Sorching sun, we proceeded to YaXiu Market 雅秀市场.

^went in for like 20 mins & left.... so my fren & I decided to shop around the malls near 雅秀.... *coz too many shps selling the same stuffs & needed somewhere super cool.... too hot on that day*
^Loads of embassy around YaXiu & the high-rise buildings opposite it...
^Get this.... China isn't old-fashioned at all... There is Uniqlo
^Mango
^Artificial fountain
^Can U see the Steve wordings? Its the US brand Steve Madden *s'pore din have this boutique at all* & the famous HK jewellery Chou Da Fok,beside it.
^I thought these few structures looked very much like the malls in Japan...
After spending 3 hours shopping, din buy much only KungFu Panda movie, the 2008 Olympic Opening Ceremony & a Harajuku Lovers comestic casing..... Then we to catch the KungFu Show 功夫 @ 红剧场.

^After the show, we gave them a standing ovation...
Too bad, no pix was allowed to be taken as the flash may harm their performance...
Before we went back to our hotel, we got to see ChangAn Street Night View 夜游长安街.
^Can U see the word Raffles? This actually the Raffles Beijing Hotel...

^I stayed in this hotel 5 yrs ago when I was in Beijing with my cousin... Beijing International Hotel - Love it coz fantastic breakfast & very comfortable room!!!!
