Took the China Airline plane @ 0810 & reached Xiamen like 12 plus. Quite a boring flight since no tv in front of my seat... anyway as soon as I reached there, drizzles was awaiting for us. We went sight-seeing immediately & got to know a couple more ppl on the ride.
Xiamen Overseas Chinese Museum 华侨博物馆
The Xiamen Overseas Chinese Museum is a comprehensive museum that highlights the history of overseas Chinese, and the only Chinese museum set up by overseas Chinese. Located at the foot of Fengchao (bee hive) Hill, the museum was founded by the eminent overseas Chinese philanthropist Chen Jiageng (Tan Kah-kee 陈嘉庚先生) in 1956 and opened to the public in May 1959. The museum covers an area of 50,000 square meters. Its main building, which has a construction area of more than 4,000 square meters, is a palace-style structure made of granites.

actually, after we visited this museum, we went to SM shopping mall coz we din have lunch on plane, most of the ppl on bus were famished. Spent 1.5hr there & then brought to 华侨新村步行街. I broke my watch before I boarded the plane so for the entire I din have my watch with me. So I go to this 'high-end mall' (to them lah... its something like or Istean) to get a watch.
Bought at 690rmb = to S$132

so tired after much walking.... *ha*
